BeamMed at Medica 2010: Focuses on Osteoporosis Early Assessment and Showcases Bone Health-related Portfolio

Petah Tikva, Israel – November, 2010 –BeamMed, a leading provider of bone health-related measurement systems, will be showcasing an extensive portfolio of products at the upcoming Medica 2010 exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany – Hall 10, booth 11.

Taking center stage at the BeamMed booth, is the Sunlight MiniOmni™, the newest BeamMed bone sonometer, which was launched in October. Visitors to the Sunlight booth will be able to have their bone density measured using the MiniOmni – a quick, painless, and x-ray-free ultrasound-based test that will yield a printed report than can later be taken to a doctor for further follow up.

The MiniOmni is based on the same proprietary Omnipath™ quantitative ultrasound technology that has been proven over years in clinical use in the Sunlight Omnisense™ 7000 and Sunlight Omnisense 8000 bone sonometers. Both these systems will also be on display at the Medica show.

In addition, at Medica, BeamMed will also demonstrate the Tetrax balance testing system and the Sunlight BonAge skeletal age testing system for children and adolescents aged 5 – 18 years.
