High interest in early assessment of osteoporosis underscores a successful show for BeamMed
Petach Tikva, Israel – November 29, 2011 – BeamMed, a leading provider of bone health-related measurement systems, provided free Osteoporosis early assessment tests to more than 300 visitors to its booth at Medica 2011, which was held in Dusseldorf, Germany, in mid-November. The popularity of the tests was matched by high interest in the wide range of bone health assessment and monitoring solutions in BeamMed’s portfolio, keeping the BeamMed booth busy throughout the show.
The free osteoporosis early assessment tests proved highly popular, with lines stretching far outside the booth as people awaited their turn to be tested. The on-the-spot tests perfectly demonstrated the value of the Sunlight MiniOmni device as an exceptionally affordable, professional solution for early assessment of osteoporosis. Each test, performed with the Sunlight MiniOmni bone sonometer, took less than five minutes, including the time needed to type in the person’s details. All those tested received a one-page measurement report which they could take to their doctors to consider what, if any, follow-up was needed.
Throughout the Medica show, BeamMed team members met with dozens of potential business partners from every continent, including doctors, distributors and representatives of pharmacy chains, check-up centers and screening facilities. In addition, BeamMed hosted its existing partners for an evening at a popular Dusseldorf restaurant. The group celebrated the FDA clearance and Health Canada medical license received by the Sunlight MiniOmni device in the weeks leading up to the show. These clearances followed CE mark clearance, which was received a year earlier.
